MINT Design Featured in Australian House & Garden

norsuHOME project, December 2025 Issue

We’re thrilled to share that our norsuHOME project has been featured in the December issue of Australian House & Garden, a beautiful recognition of a home where architecture, interiors and landscape come together with purpose and clarity.

This project began with a simple brief from homeowner and norsu Interiors co-director, Nat Wheeler: create a landscape that feels just as loved and considered as the interior. The result is a garden that bridges eras and atmospheres, a traditional Californian bungalow frontage flowing seamlessly into a calm, contemporary outdoor retreat at the rear.

The feature explores how Mint Design shaped the spaces around Nat’s family home, focusing on sculptural planting, layered textures and a softened transition between old and new. From clipped evergreens and tranquil side paths to the lush poolside planting and alfresco zone, every detail is designed to elevate daily living and enrich the architecture it surrounds.

Director Darin Bradbury shares his approach to working with compact and characterful spaces, including tips on creating depth, balance and visual rhythm in smaller gardens. The article also highlights the planting palette, from Japanese maples and Boston ivy to birds of paradise and kidney weed, all curated to deliver structure, softness and year-round interest.

Most importantly, the story reflects the intention behind the project: a family home brought to life through collaboration, creativity and thoughtful landscape design.

As Nat puts it in the feature, “The amazing crew completely understood our vision and brought it to life with care.”

We’re incredibly proud to see this project recognised, and even prouder of the partnership that made it possible.
