LUME House

Brighton

2025

Conceived as an exploration of light, texture and balance, LUME House brings together contemporary architecture and refined landscape design in perfect dialogue. Mint’s pool and garden design respond to the home’s clean geometry and natural palette, creating outdoor spaces that feel sculptural yet calm. The pool sits as an extension of the architecture — a reflective plane framed by considered planting and materiality that softens the built form. Every element, from paving to planting composition, has been designed to enhance connection between inside and out, celebrating a sense of quiet luxury that defines the home.

Designed for a contemporary Brighton home by Thomas Archer, the scope included a sculptural pool and spa, alfresco kitchen and dining, basketball court, front courtyard and entry garden. Materials were selected to complement the home's natural palette — a considered combination of paving, water and planting that creates a seamless transition between interior and exterior. Pool construction was completed by TLC Pools, with landscaping by Modern Living Landscapes.
